Home of the Free Because of the Brave 2011

Committee for the Families of Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans invite you to join them with their third annual Home of the Free Because of the Brave Radio Thon broadcasted live on WPDH Sunday October 23^rd 9:00 am to 9:00 pm at Anthony’s Pier Nine 2975 U.S. Route 9w South, New Windsor, NY All proceeds go to Families of Veterans wounded or killed in Iraq and Afghanistan in the Hudson Valley. The Committee for the Families or Iraq and Afghanistan War Veterans was founded in response to a photograph appearing in the Times Herald Record of the family—wife and four children—of First Lieutenant Louis Allen, a soldier killed in Iraq. The ad hoc group is dedicated to remembering the ultimate sacrifices made by all men and women in our region from all branches of the military.
