AIR CAMPAIGN TO HELP HUDSON VALLEY FAMILIES OF FALLEN OR WOUNDED SOLDIERS

Thunder 102 and WRWD join forces for regional Radiothon.

Shoprite stores, River Reporter, Sullivan and Orange County government centers  provide ground support

The largest regional radiothon ever staged in support of families of Hudson Valley troops that have either died or been injured in Iraq or Afghanistan is now an annual event.

Each year we host a Radiothon held in various locations throughout the Mid Hudson Valley in support of our Veteran Families.

Donations are solicited via phone and in many Mid-Hudson locations by the selling of Eagle cards with a suggested donation of $1 per card. Of course you may give more if you wish!

Shopright has been a Major contributor selling Eagle cards in their stores and we hope to expand that to other vendors and businesses in the area.

Thunder102 has served as the Flagship station of the radiothon and in future we hope to expand the number of satelite station to include greater coverage of the Utica, Catskill and Orange Counties. Our very first satelite station is WRWD.
