Veterans Begin Again Starts

Our First Veteran Enters the Program!

Today it was announced that we have accepted our first participant in the VBA Program. Derek Kautz a former special forces operator has started training with Eastern Energy Systems of Long Island, training in the installation and maintenance of green energy systems most notably wind turbines. the program is helping to pay some of Derek's living expenses while he undergoes his training. Eastern Energy systems is expected to hire Derek full time as soon as his training is complete.

The VBA program is designed to assess, re-train and re-employ Veterans returning from the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars throughout the Mid-Hudson Valley. Our staff works with approved Veterans on a one-on-one basis to find out where they have been, where they are want to go and together create the bridges to their new futures. The program makes available to approved Veterans the following:

1. Professional Job Search and Consultation

2. Resume Consultation = Rewrite/Create Veteran Resume by Professional Resume Writer

3. Behavioral Interviewing Consultation & Training

4. Professional Skills Consultation & Training

5. Behavioral Testing Consultation

6. Other Professional Consultation as needed
